Look no further as I’ve got a knack for keeping audiences engaged and dynamic conversations on track.

Mindfulness and Meditation for Caregivers

If you’re a caregiver, you’ve probably heard that you “can’t pour from an empty cup”
or that “you need to put your own oxygen mask on first” when balancing caregiving responsibilities while trying to care for yourself.

You also know that while it’s not easy to carve out time for yourself while you’re caring for others, on some level, you do know that it’s essential for a healthy well-being.

In my program, “Mindfulness and Meditation for Caregivers,” we talk about how to be mindful, what meditation is (and isn’t) and how to realistically weave meditation into your day. I also share three simple meditation techniques that you can call upon during stressful times, or anytime. A fun, mindful eating exercise is also included!

While this program is ideal for groups, it can also be presented one-on-one. Virtual options are available. For more information—or to bring this program to your group setting—email me at: Christine.Krahling@gmail.com.

FAQs

  • I’ve been moderating book club discussions--including hosting authors as special guests--for more than 20 years. I'm also the host of the podcast Bloom Where You Are Planted, where I've interviewed authors, therapists, coaches, and others. I do my research. If your guest has written a book, rest assured I will have read it, dog-eared the pages and highlighted important passages to develop thought-provoking questions.

  • Since completing a Certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University in 2021, I’ve been leading community wellness programs and women’s mini-retreats and workshop sessions that have soothed many a soul. I’ve also been published on health and wellness topics. Plus, I’ve got a knack for “reading the room,” and encouraging interactive discussions, even if this is the first time your group has come together.

  • I offer self-care workshops, mindfulness and meditation workshops for caregivers, and journaling workshops. Programs are customized to fit your group's needs.

  • I have a bunch of contacts in the publishing biz so I can certainly work with you and recommend a guest that meets your/your group's needs.

  • My rates are competitive, yet fair, and I offer a nonprofit rate as well for those organizations that qualify.

Virtual events are also an option.
