Hi! I’m a Writer’s Digest award-winning writer, a developmental editor, and a wellness workshop presenter. My podcast "Bloom Where You Are Planted", features inspirational conversations with authors, therapists, coaches and everyday people that discuss how we can be the best versions of ourselves when life gets in the way. My one-year anniversary podcast guest was none other than television icon Joan Lunden.
Though I also have a background in publicity and fundraising, I always come back to my first loves: reading and writing. I’m a former magazine editor, and I’ve been a book club facilitator for more than 20 years. If I’m not reading books, I’m talking about them, interviewing authors, and curating book recommendation lists.

A little more about me:
I earned a Wellness Counseling Certificate from Cornell University in 2021 and learned specific communication tactics that encourage open and productive dialogue and promote a culture of wellness.
My article, “Seven Tips for a Successful Book Club” placed in the Top 100 in the Magazine Feature Article category in Writer’s Digest’s 2011 competition.
I’ve developed a Mindfulness & Meditation for Caregivers workshop, as well as a journaling workshop titled Cultivating Emotional Resilience. Both programs can be presented to groups or organizations either in-person or virtually. (See the Work With Me page for further info.)
I helped develop a program titled “Confronting the Opioid Epidemic” as part of a masterclass series for St. James Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, New York.
I’ve been a guest DJ on Sirius XM’s E Street Radio Channel.
I believe there is almost nothing a good cupcake can’t fix.
I have met many celebrities over the years but I’m still chasing Bruce Springsteen. (Hey, a girl can dream, right?)
