Meditation & Mindfulness for Caregivers

If you’re a caregiver, you’ve probably heard that you “need to put your own oxygen mask on first” when balancing caregiving responsibilities while trying to care for yourself. Easier said than done.

Carving out time for yourself while caring for others can often seem like a luxury but it’s actually essential for a healthy well-being.

In “Mindfulness and Meditation for Caregivers,” we talk about how to be mindful, what meditation is (and isn’t) and how to realistically weave meditation into your day. I also share three simple meditation techniques that you can call upon during stressful times, or anytime. A fun, mindful eating exercise is also included.

This workshop can be presented in-person or virtually for your group or organization. One-on-one sessions are also available.

Cultivating Emotional Resilience

In this introspective workshop, participants will:  

  • Discover the benefits of journaling

  • Learn what emotional resilience is, and how to cultivate a resilient spirit

  • Use simple journaling prompts to write about and move through a particular life experience. 

 (Sharing among participants is encouraged but not required.)
