Ep 12: Discussing Teens and Anxiety with Maggie McCurdy, MS, LMHC

In honor of World Mental Health Day tomorrow, Christine talks to Maggie McCurdy, MS, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor, about teens and anxiety. In these challenging, social-media-driven times, the term “anxiety” seems to have become a catch-all for the daily stressors that ail us. Teens process things differently than adults, though, and have their own set of challenges when it comes to stressors and life changes. Christine and Maggie discuss how teens’ struggles are different from adults, what role social media plays in teens and anxiety, and what the adults in their lives can do to help.
